PhyllisDwyer > We first saw this fox all curled up and sleeping in our backyard - about 10 A.M. on New Year's Day. He was really enjoying the warm sun and perfectly content to just snooze for about 15 minutes. A squirrel up in the tree above him was frantic - but quiet - trying to get to the bird feeder hanging just above the fox. He jumped from limb to limb but didn't quite have the courage to climb down to the feeder.

PhyllisDwyer > Finally opened his eyes - looked at the squirrel - but too tired to really care. Must have had a wild New Year's Eve!
PhyllisDwyer > Big yawn after his nap
PhyllisDwyer > Still not really awake but thinking about moving.
PhyllisDwyer > At least he's up and on the move. Where to now?
PhyllisDwyer > Ahh! A good stretch really feels good! Just taking his time to find his next location - which happened to be behind one of our bushes next to the fence. He stayed there for another 1/2 hour at least.
PhyllisDwyer > Moving to another napping spot
PhyllisDwyer > Sorry to see our friend go - perhaps we'll see you again some day but thank you for sharing your world with us on this New Year's Day - 2010.
