We first saw this fox all curled up and sleeping in our backyard - about 10 A.M. on New Year's Day. He was really enjoying the warm sun and perfectly content to just snooze for about 15 minutes. A squirrel up in the tree above him was frantic - but quiet - trying to get to the bird feeder hanging just above the fox. He jumped from limb to limb but didn't quite have the courage to climb down to the feeder.
